I've found myself recently coming across some inspiration from podcasts and testimony from people I look up to.
As someone who experiences ADHD symptoms an excellent tip I have been employing recently is that:
If you pick something up, say a task or an object, make sure you don't place this down or put it aside before you have completed tidying it (or enough of the task).
I've found myself tidying my room and moving an object all about and it not finding itself back where it belongs!
Following this has helped me enormously!
It's all part of something which I have been trying to hold myself to:
Hold yourself accountable to what you say you will do! 🧠
It's so easy to make excuses, find reasons and justify them to have not completed or finished things.
Life happens and it's fine if things are pushed back or don't happen in the way you imagined!
I've found it's all about giving yourself time to breathe and remind yourself that you can do this!
Just like a Physics or Mathematics exercise (being a physics graduate 🤓), the only way something will resolve itself is if you get stuck-in!
What are some important life lessons or hacks that you use day to day?
Another good one I have been doing is:
To make sure my housekeys always get placed in the same (safe) location, if I ever see them out of place I make sure to put them back in their place! 🔑
